Borovets in March

Thinking of going to Borovets in March (3rd or 10th) is there still likely to be good enough snow by then(we are beginners (and don't know much about anything!)). Also what is the Iglika hotel like?Thanks

went boro march last year and was great plenty of snow booked again fly from gatwick 3rd good ski school but dont know about hotel you will have a blast three beginners coming with us group of 10re: Borovets in March

Hi Pippa,Stayed at Iglika Hotel 19th March 2006 and it was excellent snow magic conditions and not too busy. Hotel was good. Read some bad reports and was worried but food and rooms, but everything was fine ate at hotel breakfast and evening meal.
Would recommend you try it, it was my 1st holiday and was hooked going back this weekend.

ive been to borovets a few times in march and the snow is always great...always had a couple of big dumps and nice blue skies. never stayed at iglika palace but will be in about 7 weeks. 6 of us heading out from manchester on the 3rd, boarders and skiers with 1 yet to decide. ive found nothing but good reports about this hotel, apart from the usual complaints about food not being english. its pretty close to the lifts and nursery slopes, oh and the bars are a short stagger away ...

go on just book it, you wont regret it, its a great place to learn...

Iglika is one of the best hotels on boro.very homely, cheap drink, friendly staff, good/clean facilities, great breakfasts.....
You will have a ball.
