Borovets kids ski school

My son who is 9 will be taking lessons this year and so will I as it is only our 2nd time on the slopes. Last year in Borovets we were in a family group which was ok, but I spent most of my time looking after him and my wife (who is not skiing this year). My question is do they put children in groups together? I cant remember what the score is I do remember groups of little children flying past me!!!
I dont want this to sound selfish but I had no time to myself and my skiing did not ...

I dont want this to sound selfish but I had no time to myself and my skiing did not progress as much as I would like, My son also shows off and does not listen to instruction when we are there and I think he could be loads better....
