Hi all was in Borovets last week had a brill wk and the skiing was very good. Its a lovely resort and so handy because the hotels are so close to the runs and gondola so no time wasted waiting for buses and means you can take a break at any time during the day and relax in hotel as my girlfriend did most days after 2 or3 she was wrecked and went back to the room while i continued skiing.Was in pamps last year and cudnt really do this because we had get a bus transfer a few km to the slopes which ment we had stay there most the day. Stayed in the Rila hotel its nice warm place and very close the slopes and ski depots the food bit dodgy do i think thats wit all hotels though!!We want to thank Fiona who we found on this site and she organised private ski lessons which were well worth the money and we would recomend her to any one looking for lessons, ski and boot hire etc!Overall its lovely resort with brill runs for every level especially intermediates up the gondola although by the end of the wk was some icy patches down near the bottom. Hope any one going there has a great time i hope to be back nxt year
