Hi All
In Borovets, arrived yesterday, here for a week...Any questions please ask as I will be around internet most days.
Update so far....arrived sat night...to be told by reps not enough snow for skiing due to the heavy rain recently and no passes being handed out. I cud not hide my disappointment and feared the worst. I kid u not it snowed all thru last night and all day today (sun). The go ahead has been given and we are skiing tomorrow. Staying at the Hotel Lion-this must be the best ...

we went skiing yesterday as the gondola and the yastrebets express chair were open. The Markdjuk runs were all closed, and it was very foggy up top. The runs down to the middle station and to the yastrebets express had plenty of snow but were not bashed. Where the bashers actually have been up theyve managed to churn a bit of earth and rocks up. One exciting extra this year is with the new cannons all over the place theyve dug various trenches across the pistes, and thes have yet to be ...

There been a great deal of new snow, just hope they managed to get the bashers out last night

It has snowed all day today and continues into the evening. The top of Yastrebets was closed today due to unpleasent windy snowy weather. Though we did sneek in the musala pathway which is very scenic.The conditions are getting there, in terms of snow depth, a little patchy and icy in parts but most runs Ok.
Take out a second mortgage to eat up the mountain!!! I kid u not, expensive and poor quality food.
NB You must buy ur lift passes in the UK, hey are 130 pounds to ...
