Borovets on 13th Jan

Four of us going out on the 13th jan and can't wait now. Just wanted to know if you can get decent priced snowboarding boots in borovets, or are we better off getting them before we go.

We have all booked the learn to board package through thompson but then decided to have the lessons over here. we arn't confident boarders by any means but we can do the basics. Do you think we should still have the lessons or will they teach us what we already know????

Any advice??

The great thing about having lessons over there is you get shown the best places to ski/board (when you're fully competant on your own). That can make it for your holiday. I think that getting a package of equipment, lessons & lift pass work out really cheap (equivalent of a free lift pass).

I'm doing a few lessons (3x 2Hrs) when I get out to Pamorovo just as a refresher but also to get some guide to the area.

You'll get all youi need in Borovec, just pray for some snow. It is likely that I would be there with a frienf of mine at that point and I hope your prayers get answered so I get to ski a bit

Hey were going out on the 13 of jan as well can't wait went last feb and had the ski/snowboard package and it worked out well for me, didnt go to many of the lessons but it works out just as cheap anyway.

Hoping for more snow too

The package price works out good value, and even tho i am going 6th jan, my 3rd time i am still doing lessons, u can opt to go in beginner, intermediate or advanced so u will still learn new tricks so i would pop along anyway, cant do any harm, and i think each instructor teaches u new/different methods... so all the better! cant wait! 8more sleeps!!!
