Borovets or Bansko

Our first time to Bulgaria .... intermediate skiers, any advice as to where to go? Is that correct in Bansko there is a 30 minute cable car to the ski area? Is that the same in Borovets? ..... Keith

borovets has two areas one with a cable car and another area outside the rila hotel you can ski quite a few different runs. from two chairlifts i prefer boro for this reason also the bars are closer together but saying that one up the cable car in bansko i think the skiing is a bit better, id still go borovets and with only i hr transfer.

i love boro for lads trips cos of all the night time ladie fun

bansko every time for skiing and snowboarding though

Not 30 mins around 15. Bansko for me a proper town with loads of choice for bars a restaurants.

great thanks for the info, was thinking of going before half term in February
