What a week !!!!!!!!!!
Got back last night ... Snow was fantastic last week, thats the luck of the draw. The Flora hotel was all we could have wished for -- BRILLIANT. We didnt try the pool ( not enough time 'cos my 8 yr old wouldnt come off the piste 'til the very last lift had closed ) but people that did use it said it was very nice.
We stayed in the newer half of the hotel, it was spotlessly clean & we were all moaning by the 3rd day that the bedrooms were too hot !!!!!!!!!! Certainly no problems getting your gear dry for the morning. The food in the hotel restaurant was better than expected -- we have two very fussy eaters and no-one went hungry all week.
The two kids loved the whole holiday ( first time on snow for them ) & when next year was mentioned they have already decided that its Borovets again -- staying at the Flora hotel.
Bad bits ?????????
Next time we go i will walk all the way to Bulgaria in my ski boots before i use PLOVDIV airport -- it has to be Sofia for me. (personal opinion).
Boro sport ski school was VERY disapointing. Rude instructors in all 3 groups we used -- Had to move the 13 yr old after 3 days and sort out private lessons.
ALBENA ski school -- everything we hoped for -- excellent instruction & lovely people.
