Borovets review

Well here is my honest report of my week in Borovets last week:
3 hour flight from Manchester, TV didnt work but short flight. Our First Choice rep pointed us to our bus for our 1hr 30 min transfer with the slowest driver in the world.
Got to our hotel, Edelweiss at around 11.30 where they put on a decent enough meal. Our room was basic but clean so couldnt grumble. Limited to Eurosport, BBC world and german MTV but for the time spent in your room, this was not a problem.

Well here is my honest report of my week in Borovets last week:
3 hour flight from Manchester, TV didnt work but short flight. Our First Choice rep pointed us to our bus for our 1hr 30 min transfer with the slowest driver in the world.

Sunday was meeting rep, who pointed us to the Rila which was slightly caotic with all us new uns but soon got sorted out and randomly put into a beginers group led by Kiko (hi to my fellow groupers who were a scream!)
Bearing in mind we were a group of 10, 1:1 tuition really is not possible but by the end of the week we were all flying down blue runs so how can we complain.
Kiko took us to diff places to eat which were all nice, burgers, pizza, chips .... and never once did he hassel us for money/ tips/ excusions/ other crap
The days absolutley fly and the night life really is a crack. Big shout out to the 'black top' gang from Monday in Titanic - yes I was sick as a dog that morning, God knows how i made it up the slopes, but trust me 3 runs and your head is clear.
We found the Bulgarian people lovely. Always pleasent and smiling and extremely grateful wheneva we tipped.
Funky's, Titanic and Black Tiger (I apologise for my horrendeous singing and dancing) were mainly our choice and found the drinks to get cheaper and cheaper the more local we became, although we never paid more than 4lev for a pint.
We occasionally saw a young lad of around 10 begging but not as bad as what you get back home and I vaguely remember some men when we stumbled out of a bar (although 2 people we met were made to hand over there wallets shortly after we left - after which there was a strong police present in the resort)
We booked our Skidoos with our rep which were a laugh, albeit slightly scarey.
All in all I loved Borovets and will definatley be returning.
If you are after classy and sophisticated then no this is not your place, but cheap, cheerful, up for a laugh and very friendly - definatley.
Once again, a big shout out to all those who we met, hope to see you all there again

It was absolutley wicked. Had to put in the few negatives we saw though to show we were genuine.
We are def going back as soon as.
We tried finding you a few times in Titanic, but like ships in the night (geddit!!) we kept missing you.
How did the pics turn out?
