We had a good week. We even had snow on Tuesday. But then the warm weather started doing damage and thawed away at all the white stuff.
Skiing still was pretty much OK on Thursday and But Friday and Saturday, the ground started to appear thru the snow all over the place, and it was deteriorating really badly. Cold temperatures overnight had created large icy patches.
Add to that, the Goldola was only open up to mid-point on Saturday, ...
Not good....
Just got back tonight (sunday).

Add to that, the Goldola was only open up to mid-point on Saturday, and we faced a trecherous, icy ski back down.
But All in all, WE had a pretty good skiing week because teh conditions were so good up, except for the very last day. I pity the poor so-and-so's out there this week.....we left it in the worst conditions I've seen it in, in the last four years we've been going.
When you left were the conditions getting really bad from mid station down or right from the top? Going out on 10th March and was hoping that the conditions up top would still be holding up OK?
I got back on Saturday and Friday it was unbearable and dangerous in places. The top of the gondola is still OK but fading, the lower slopes are just awful.
If you get snow it will change everything I promise but you need a good 12 inches
I agree with Jumper the lower slopes are awlful. Even the red slopes to the halfway station were bad on Friday. The very top is ok but that's just green and blue. Not good for advanced skiers
