Borovets ski runs

Hi all..
Wen and i were in Boro yesterday enjoying the mountain bike park (again Wink)...
We were using the Sitnyakovo chair and noticed a big improvement to the Sitnyakovo 2 red run, the bottom of which has been widened allowing access back to the family run that crosses the runs back down into Boro..
It looks like it will be accessable from right under the top station of the chair, and is of a gradiant that definately would mark it as a red Razz

That news apart, a great day was had by all in fairly slippery conditions (understatement !!), the Borovets Mountain bike Park, definately a step forward for the summers in Boro Booze

hi steve. they are also upgrading the water supply to the lower Rila runs and putting in alot more snow cannons. You might have seen all the digging for the supply pipes. They have piped the water from the new reservoir near Yastrebets and there are new snow cannon supports on the Rila runs. just need the snow cannons now. Hopefully it should provide more consistent conditions on the lower runs.

They have also put new system in for the poma outside the Rila as it kept breaking down last year. I think they have been maintaining the bottom of the mountain this year which is good for people learning to ski.
