after a bit of advice about getting to Sofia from Borovets by bus without using tour reps. Wanting to make a full day will we need to get to Samokov town to pick up bus, also needing to return any help would be appreciated.
Some buses goes straight from Borovez to Sofia, or you use the Minibus to Samokov and from here every 30' a bus run to Sofia South busstation.
There is a small Kiosk, you have to buy tickets for the sofia buses. If you have large baggage you have to pay for these too.
Then you walk up the stairs to the bridge which is over the busstation and catch there the bus. Best will be to go to Central Station Sofia and buy a Sofia map.
From Central station follow the Knas. Maria Louisa and you will ...

Beware the pick pockets in Sophia around the tourist areas. Last year a well dressed women joined our party in a church and before we knew it someone had had their wallet stolen.
No problem mark, sorry to miss you at the not existing meeting.
May be you buy the sofia map in Samokov. If you came with the bus from Samokov you can catch the next bus to Sofia. Some of the churchs are worth a visit even the market hall on the Maria Louisa.
Change money before you go our in a bank in Sofia it is really hard to find a correct changing office in Sofia, believe me.
