So the alarm is set for 4am to drive to Gatwick and tommorow the Big Easy Orange Bus will be landing in Sophia around lunchtime - so excited.Can anyone tell us the state of the roads between Sophia and Borovets right now and how long this pre-booked transfer is likely to take in these conditions?

I understand that the road from sofia to borovets is reasonable considering the conditions here at the moment. It depends a lot on snowfall between now and when you arrive and also the winds as this is a lot of the problem here at the moment as the snow is drifting and no sooner are the roads cleared than they are covered again in snow. I would think that you will be ok and expect the transfer to take 1 hour 30 minutes or so. Most of the heavy snowfall that we were expecting this week has ...

The road has snow on it but not really any problems, I did a run to the airport from Samokov today and it was only about an hour.re: Borovets transfer...

Hi Graham,I know your questions have been answered but just to say, have a safe flight tomoz and see you in the restaurant in the afternoon or on Friday and Bobby will take you to the depot to sort out your ski's for your lesson on Friday afternoon.
Snow is amazing but it's still very cold so make sure you all (especially Maya) wrap up warm!
