Hi, could anyone in resort give us an update on conditions due to the fact that can't see a thing on the webcams, bad vis! From what I hear on weather reports its dumping down in Bulgaria! is the road up from Sofia ok? 24 hours to go for me!!!!! and can't wait!!!!!!!

24 hours for us too. January 2014 we had little snow. Perhaps this year it will be too much!

Can there ever be a time when there is to much snow ??? well, possibly
Roads ok at the moment with care, driving in Boro is errrrr interesting.... methinks you both will have a good time

I was wondering about the roads too, so that's good to hear. Last year our coach hit a rock and we had to wait until another bus came from Sofia. At least it wasn't cold then!Really looking forward to seeing Borovets with proper snow.

This is poss the best snow I have seen (webcam) in years here! think March is the way ahead, been lucky 3 years on the trot now! but this is looking nuts! Fat skis out the attic and in my ski bag!!
Funny what a year makes, last year everyone was moaning about Borosport and the lack of snow (which i my eyes was not there fault, weather is in the hands of the big man upstairs people) and how I'm never coming back to Bulgaria and so on moan moan moan!, and this year its all hunky dory, and ...

Ditto Ditto... its amazing.. about a metre fell last night and people skiing though town today.. .. can see borovets being open well into April..

it was last year and the snow was really bad last year, but the marky slopes and yastrebets 2 and 3 were open and that was first week of april slopes are nice and quiet as well
