Borovets update

Arrved at 4pm today and the snow is unbelievable. The taxi driver told me that they haven't had as much snow as this in the last 8 years and he expects it to stay on the upper slopes until June!!! Just been night skiing for an hour then sold my pass on. The skiing was great and the best I have ever done in Bulgaria and probably
The best conditioned run I have ever skied including Lapland and the alps....

Sounds fantastic. How was the night skiing? I did it last year and found the lower parts icy. I slipped (only a tiny bit) and knackered my back.

I had the same experience as you 3years ago all ice... But now completely different story not one patch of ice at all and in as good conditions as you can get! I bough lift pass for 22lv then sold it an hour and a quarter later for 15 so I did 1hr and a quarter skiing on unbelievable slopes for 3 quid... That's good

Cool - I guess if conditions allow then I may try it again but once bitten....
