Borovets v Bansko??

Hi guys, I went boarding for the first time in borovets last March and had an amazing time and i'm gonna go back to Bulgaria this year but im not sure wheather to try Bansko instead...I hated the button lifts in Borovets as I kept falling off and holding people up. I understand there are more 'sitty-down' lifts in Bansko. Has anyone been to both and which would you reccommend for novice snowboarders????

So long as you are okay on the blue runs, you will be able to board without using drag lifts if you wish. However some boarders will tell you to use the drags in order to get the practice. I have an alternative solution.
Get yourself some skis!!!

hey benny..
theres a chair lift up the top of the mountain now..i think its replaced the first two drags that were there.
i know what you mean about falling on the drags though..when i first got into boarding i was always falling off them, youve just got to stick with it..i havent fallen on a drag in the last 5 years.. im assuming youre only straping one foot in with the other free?? if so, strap both in and just lean back on your heel edge and youll be fine.. it might be worth going to ...

one other thing..dont worry about holding people up, youve paid youre dough and everyone is a novice at least once!!
