Borovets vs Bansko?

Can anyone tell me the main differences between the two, and some pros and cons for both?

First and major difference is that Borovets is a resort, Bansko is a town, and although they offer all the same amenities, in Bansko they are that much further apart. For example, the tour operators pub crawl in Borovets is on foot, in Bansko you need a bus.
I love them both, and other than the distances between things in Bansko they're fairly similar overall. Same things in the shops, same level of hotel service, same beers at the same prices.

I prefer Bansko myself but it depends what you want. Bansko it more traditional whereas Borovets is a bit like Benidorm, great for wild nights out. Im an old fart now so I go for the quieter resorts lol
