I know it is probably stating the obvious but have you tried looking at http://www.bulgariaski.com/bookaholiday.shtml ? It is under the Ski Holiday Booking section of www.bulgariaski.com. They do the skis, passes, ski packages, etc…

I'm not sure how this price compares with other prices you have seen. I’m not even sure if you can buy these on there own, but it is worth a try. Note there is a 4.2% Credit Card surcharge.

We are out there the same week so might even see ...

re: Borovets with Inghams

Hi Gary,

Thanks for the suggestion but I already tried that and they won't sell them unless I'm also booking a hotel with them Sad

Have a good week out there - I apologise in advance for my out of control skiing!

Where are you flying from ? Where are you stopping ? Have you been before ?

As for the “out of control skiing”, I thought that's what it is all about ?

George, our instructor last year, said we should ski on the edges. I thought he said ski on the edge...

Hi,

We're leaving from Gatwick on Saturday and going (I think) to Plovdiv. I've never been to Bulgaria before but fingers crossed it'll be a good week. I'm a bit worried about the trees though - never skiied anywhere with trees on the slopes before! Don't want to do a Sonny Bono

Gary,

You can only book lift passes with the holidays on our site. It comes as a package only.

re: Borovets with Inghams

ruth, please do not try buying a local pass, ive posted this before the guys on the lifts are looking out for this and they WILL take the pass off you, and you could be well stuck, they are for BG residents only. Secondly tell them your a beginner and book it that way, the ski school in borovets is laid back and they will put you in a class refelcting your level of ability not depending on what package you booked, (by the way i did not tell you this as its a closely kept secret!) Thirdly if all else fails and your rep cant help, get your self into the Samakov ski depot go over to the left hand side (boarding side) ask for bobby about 5'8'' slim goatee, tell him Fraser sent you to ask him if he can sort out your pass, will save you about 50-60 lev
have a good time

Ruth

It is very interesting to read on Ingham’s web site, under the Prices section, that you can buy lift passes, lessons, etc… and there is NO mention of time or date restrictions.

Could this be a bit of ammunition for you ?
