Borovets.... Easter V Xmas

Came back from Borovets at the weekend, where the snow and skiing was great. Can anyone please help. Unable to go the same time next year, but now we have the kids skiing would like to continue and was wondering what Borovets is like for skiing and snow either at Xmas or during the Easter hols?
Any advice appreciated.

The better bet for Easter would be Bansko, but Easter next year isn't until mid April and it still might be a bit late - even this year would be cutting it fine.

What about the half term break in February

February is the best month to be going.

The snow was a wee late at the beging of this season and early January there was not that much snow on Borovets at all. Many of the lower slows had exposed rocks and grass. Easter holidays may be cutting it fine also. In february your pretty much guaranteed plenty of snow and relativley good conditions.

Same dilemma as us! Unfortunately neither seem to be reliable for snow. #easter is fairly early this year but we have the new school holidays so don't break up until 5th April so that snookered that idea!

We went Boxing day last year and the first 2 days were poor skiing - grass & rocks everywhere. Luckily from the 3rd day onwards it snowed non-stop but the conditions weren't great. The resort had only been open a few weeks by the time we got there!
We have booked for Feb half term 06 - the joys of having a teacher as a Fiancee Mad

Thanks everyone, unfortunately I'm a trainee teacher and still have to bee in Uni at half term even though my children are off. I was naughty this year and missed uni but don't think they will wear it next year. Have suggested hubby takes the three kids on his own, but for some reason he's not keen. Oh well gives us more time to save for the year after.
