Borovets/31st March

I have been an avid reader of this forum for many years, but have never posted before, so I am a newbie on here.

I have previously skiied in Pamporovo several times. I am tempted to return to Bulgaria but I am looking at trying Borovets. With all the snow that has fallen I was wondering and hoping that the ski season will still be in full swing by the end of March.

If anyone is travelling to Borovets for a late ski holiday I would welcome any advice and information. I was also ...

If anyone is travelling to Borovets for a late ski holiday I would welcome any advice and information. I was also wondering how easy it will be travelling as a solo skiier.

re: Borovets/31st March

Usually the ski resorts will start slowing (some seasons shuting down) but there will be skiing at the weekends.
This season for the moment because of the snow depts maybe will strech further providing the ski bosses are happy loosing money at the end.
The season from establishments and bodies on the slopes in the restaurants and profit margins is below average so I don't see it going much further than first week of April that's if lucky.

Funny but with the best snow for 60years (or lining memory more or less) people are not pressing the BOOKING button or booking elsewhere in Europe where the situation is as well at Record Best for the same amount of years so the irony is here.
Snow is one aspect of theski matter.reliability is the key factor these days.
It will need good solid 4-5 seasons like this one for the skiers to start planing ahead and well into late season (april that is).
If I am statistician I will be in trouble here.
Enjoy the snow while it lastsI am saying.

re: Borovets/31st March

I was in borovets alone for a week in Jan 2011, and going again as a lone ranger tomorow night for another week.
Last year was great, met loads of people, had a lot of fun.

So long as your comfortable traveling alone it'll be easy.
