Studio rooms in Rila were fine (rooms at back of hotel more peaceful), clean & warm, plenty of hot water. Towels provided & 1 small milk pan, would recommend taking travel kettle/tea bags/coffee if you like cuppa.
Food - nice pancakes (but get to breakfast early or queues quite big). Evening meal - no drinks provided.
Rila/Flora/Ice Angels Hotels location were ideal. Plenty of bars/places to eat. Majority of us used the Crown as resting place, nice staff & food. And, spent most evenings there because drinks prices very expensive in Hotel and shortchanged on more than one occasion by Hotel Bar Staff - that lost them a lot of custom.
Shame about weather - rained quite heavy half way through week, lower slopes werent too good (act of nature unfortunately) couple of afternoons lessons were cancelled. No helmets provided for children from ski school but Boots hired were fine.
Recommend the snowboard taster session.
We would go back to same resort - maybe earlier in year next time and self catering.
Any questions - please ask, I will respond asap...
