re: Borovets2006

I have only ever been to Borovets, so im probably somewhat biased, the first week i was a beginner and found it an excellent resort to learn at. The year after (after some dry sloping) I was a much more accomplished skier (able to ski all the red runs and a couple of blacks by the end of the week) and found there were plenty of pistes to ski on.

A word of caution - I have heard from reliable sources that the snow can be dodgy in early January, try to go second half of the month for ...

re: Borovets2006

Go towards the end of Jan begining of Feb. I was there from the 8th jan onwards, it was a really warm week with the lower slopes becoming quite treacherous towards the end of the holiday.

Don't worry though if this is the case when you do go, there is always plenty of snow up top with various runs to suit skiers at any level of abillity...
