Re 7. It depends where you are staying. I stayed at the Iglika last year and by about Wednesday I was getting a bit fed up with pasta - I asked if they could make me an omelette or something.

I waited about 15 minutes and lo and behold they brought me out a really nice dish freshly made potato and cheese dish - no extra cost. I'm sure they might do that for you if you ask nicely.

re: Borovets

1/ after welcome meeting passes etc issued then straight to ski depot for equipment then to ski school, welcome meeting started at 9 we were on the slopes for approx 11am
3/definitely the happy duck, food was good & the band in there was excellent entertainment, only a smell place so gets busy. After that buzz bar local drinks 2 for 1 10 til 12
7/ hotel food was bland to be polite, eat what you want at meal times but be prepared to top up while you are out later
