5 of us are heading out to Borovets on Saturday 16th Jan. Can anyone let me know what the weather's like and the costs of drinking and where the best (cheap) night life is?Thanks,

Was snowing when we left Boro an hour ago both in the resort and up-top.. It's raining in samokov but that's just because it's too warm - 0degrees. In Boro, it was also too warm for the snow to settle but up the mountain, it is settling... Will update you in the morning, but there may be people in the resort now who can help...re: Borovets

About 4lev for a beer (was 6lev last year) but then places are doing buy one get one free, so at times, you are just paying 2 lev a beer. I know Titanic, Golden Horn / Crown give loads of free shots as well so you can do pretty well. there are loads of 'reps' outside trying to get you into bars offering free shots, so just go with it!!As before, we have our favourites, so tend to go to the same place but I am sure others will come on here and give you additional recommendations.
