Beware the Friday night in town. The Buzz Bar is full of Huge Bulgarian men looking for trouble.
On the way to a taxi rank myself and a friend were attacked, punched and stamped on. I have two black eyes, a broken front tooth and many other cuts and bruises. I managed to get to the Samacov reception but security threw me out because I was bleeding on their shiny marble foor!
Not a policeman in sight.
Only praise for every other day mind. Head to the black run from the gondala ...

Also the run from the top of Gondala through the pylons is well good fun. Runs on the chairlift a bit icy and gets busy though there has been a lot of snow recently

NevVery sorry to hear of your misfortune - I trust your holiday company were informed and did something for you. You should be able to claim on insurance for the repair to your tooth - I would hope
Glad to hear otherwise that you had a great time it's a shame that it was a little spoilt for you at the end.

ThanksNot so much a punch up as a good kicking. Went to the Dr today and I have concussion. Still as you say, these things can happen anywhere. I wouldnt return to Borovets due to the limited advanced slopes, but would reccommend it still as a begginers/ intermediate resort with a good atmosphere and cheap apres ski.
