Having just arrived back from Borovets I feel the need to tell everyone just how good it really is.
I was a bit concerned before I went as I had read some negative reports about the resort - and how wrong they were!!
I stayed at the Rila Hotel, the rooms were clean and comfortable and better than expected. The food was ok but not the best, however eating out was cheap and varied.
Snow conditions were excellent, main gondola was busy at opening times - but well worth the wait. ...

I'm 21 and this was my second time skiing,I went with my Mum and Dad and it was my Dad's first time. The 'learn to ski' package was good and there are wide green slopes for begginers to get started on. He was even coming down the red runs by the end of the week!
Ski Instructor (crazy Emo) - fantastic! He made our holiday, gave us all more confidence with our skiing, nothing was too much trouble. I was also lucky to be part of a fantastic ski group, a big hello to you all (Joanne, Stephen, Amy, Andrew, Jason, Sally, Lucy, Paul, Victoria).
I highly recommend Borovets - there is something here for everyone and it is NOT full of "English lager louts" it is full of friendly, happy people!
