Borovets

Hi,

I've booked to goto Borovets in January. I am a snowboarder and was recently speaking to somebody who had been to the area and also boarded.
They described the equipment as pretty crap and i was wondering if this was a generalisation of the hire equipment as a whole?
Are there any hire shops better than others?

i was there this year and got chattin to some boarder guys they said as snow was not always great better to use hire board than their own so take it as you wish...
you'll enjoy it once your there
if that worried take own!!
Oh and pends on which hotel you stay in to the hire equiptment

we take our won but also hire so then depending on what the ground covering is like we are fine
think it depends more on how good a boarder you are if youre advanced then your own or very good hire stuff is better
but if your a beginner then its not to bad the hire stuff we stay at the rila and iv not had problems with the hire gear tho i do try to get decent boots all the time but my other half has had problems but he spoke to the hire ppl and they changed it

is it possible to hire equipment when you are not staying at the hotel? are there any independent hire shops?

hi mate,

have been over a few times and sometimes its not so good but the place is cool if you like to free style. try to go hangout with all the instructors there as there young cool and like a beer!!!!
