Borovets

Hi,

I have booked to go to Borovets for the week 14th - 21st Jan. Does anyone have any info on how busy this week usually is and what the snow conditions should be like?

Also - does anyone know what the Lion Hotel is like?

The Lion is at the edge of the resort - it's either a long walk, taxi or hotel minibus back to the hotel from the slopes.

Never been that week, but the week after promises to be good as that's PP's normal week

I thought this hotel was featured on the Borovets site but I can't see it now. It looked very nice last season. Do a general search and you should find it on there.

I did notice a new hotel called Ice Angels - that looks good.

We usually go half term week and have always been pleased with the weather.

If you look under snow cover reports using the menu on the left you should find the info you require.

hello alis, i do not have any info on this week. i went with the inghams in the feburary of the year that is this year earlier in the year. i licked all of the things in borovets and i sat and watched the skiers outside the rila with all the doggies

PP stands for Pamporovo Pete. He is the board administrator and has 2 weeks in Pamporovo every year.

The normal weeks for PP are the last week in January and first week in February and he's always had great snow - even if the rest of the season has been truly awful
