Just a quick one. Does anyone know if they sell decent whisky in the supermarket in Boro and if so how much it is? Just wondered if I should pick some up at the airport or not.
I always pick up a 1L bottle of my favourite single malt whisky at duty free on the way out. I wouldn't want to be on holiday and not have my whisky now would I?!
I would pick up at duty free but you can get decent whiskey in the supermarkets, just steer clear of the bulgarian Black Ram - not so good. My partner is a whiskey drinker and he says that Parker's is not bad.
Local brand whisky (Black Ram) tastes great and at 15 lev for a litre cant go wrong from the mini marts in Borovets ( i have a couple here at home now!
You can will have a great choice of whisky in Samokov (and I think anything what is on the market right now you can get; in summer I can order some Bushmills Annivesary for 60€), next town to Borovez and I think Jameson is selled in Borovez to, but where was no real Supermarkets in Borovez.
Oh... I've already put that in a previous post but it looks like I have changed my mind from Jamesons to Single Malt. I decide when I get there I guess.
