heya all,

tomorrow at 3pm i am going to the brace place in kidlington and i am getting my braces fitted. then thats it, no chocolate, fizzy drinks or sugary sweets for 18 whole months

mum brought me a big ish bar of choc for tonite, then that will be my last 1 for a while!

i'm not that bothered as im not really a choc person. but i am worried about wot i am going to look like ( hopefully it will suit me), also i am worried as loads of my mates say it hurts when they put them on

wish me luck people, i think im going to need it!

The best thing with braces is that when they put in the new wires, the things that hold it in place are now plastic - not metal (except maybe the first time).

These plastic things come in all different colours so you can have great fun with them. e.g. on Halloween - have alternating orange and black, when you go skiing - red, white and green for the colour of the bulgarian national flag - or pink and purple like UPP's ski suit.

You could always be daring and have every tooth a different colour.
