Has anyone stayed in this hotel?? What is it like, rooms food etc and do they have anywhere to store skis and bots as we take our own. We usually go to the Iglika but just found a great bargain for 5th Feb at the Breza.
Thanks
Hi D & G, I stayed there last year, in my opinion a nice quiet family run hotel - very quiet actually, I never found the bar open !!
There is somewhere to store skis - a small room opposite the sauna. Not sure how secure this is or if keys are issued. We left our cases there last day (for free).
There are slots each day (4:30 ish or so), where the sauna can be used for free, just reserve ahead and lovely after a day on the slopes

In honesty don't expect the Ritz and you won't be disappointed, however this is my opinion and approach for each hotel I've stayed in Borovets. (Rila /Moura / Breza ). I would definitely go back there.
I'm trying the Iglika this year (5th Feb also). Whats that like?
I've read various conflicting reports (always the same, wherever you stay)
Cheers and enjoy your stay, Danny javascript:addSmile('%20');
Thanks for that Danny. We have been to the Iglika 4 times and it is fine, Food ok by bulgarian standards. I hope you paid the extra for a superior room as the standard rooms in the old part of the hotel are tiny. Stayed in one the 1st year but always paid the extra after that. The bar is quite big and you will rarely find it closed!!!!!!
I stayed in thee Breza a couple of years ago and the food was poor ... no choice of dish just what was put in front of you (as opposed to advertised buffet). Thomson / Crystal must have agreed because I got some money back from them when I got home, which covered what I spent on food, eating out most nights. From what Danny says things must have improved.
It has a small bar, but was it usually was open, 5 Lev for a large beer which is higher than most places in the town.
