Brilliant!!!

Hello,

Juast got back from my first skiing holiday (Bansko). What a fantastic experience, loved every minute of it. Had learn to ski lessons and still need more "learn to ski lessons"!!!!. Everyone on a skiing holiday are so friendly and made the holiday enjoyable. Had lots of belly laughs, and some great times in the Happy End Mexhana. My children 10 &12 years old put me to shame and could ski the red slopes from the 4th day "Why do they find it so easy!!" Deffinately go again beats a ...

Glad to see you enjoyed skiing and Bansko so much - it really is a cracking place.
What was the snow conditions like and where did you stay?

Snow conditions were good enough for me being a beginner and not knowimg any different. Loads of snow cannons on the nursery slopes. There were a few red slopes open at the tops but they were very bumpy and you had to watch out for the odd stone/rock. Some more experience skiers that i spoke to said that the slopes were very difficult because they were very icy. Limited slopes open for them which made the slopes that were open very busy. They also said that with more snow it is a different ...

They also said that with more snow it is a different experience altoghter, so looking forward to next time but will go later in the year instead of so early.

Stayed in the Hotel Perun which is fantastic but food not great.

glad you enjoyed your holiday it sounds like another one bitten by the sking bug. much better than sitting on a beach in spain etc

Myself my wife and daughter are going to Borovets in a week, we will need lessons, any one out there got some good advice, ie price range, what or who to avoid.

hi go to white magic bar chris ex olympic champ gives tuition dont know cost but he good i bin goin ta boro over ten years it great tryin bansko in two weeks hope it as gud Very Happy Very Happy

Down by the Gondola in Boro private lessons are advertised at 100 lev (£36 ish) for 4 hours, not sure if this is per person or a group
