Bring our own equipment?

Should my wife and I drag our equipment from California, USA to Bulgaria? We are expert skiers. Can we get nice equipment for hire?

Pistes are great, but we have randonee gear for touring in the backcountry. Is there any chance we can hire randonee equipment anywhere in Bulgaria?

Personally i'd take your own. Most hire places the equipment is poorly maintained. ( Not yours though Fraser)

take your own, its not just the qulity of hire gear, but also the time it takes to get fitted out on the first day, if you have your own you can just pick up a lift pass and go.

i took my own equipment to pamps and got trashed due to the amount of exposed rocks Sad and that was me being carefull
