Bronze medallist bar owner in Boro

Was last in Boro in 1999. Going back on 5th March. There was a Bulgarian guy who owned a bar and did private skiing lessons. Really nice fella. Had won a bronze at Olympics or World Cup in the 80s and had pics on the bar walls. Anyone know his or bar's name and if he still there? Had 2 ton of Brylcreem on his head.

Could possibly Chris angelo - his bar is White Magic opposite the Samakov

Dunno about the bronze olympic medal but he was on the FIS world cup and in the olympics think he still does lessons

sounds like christo , as said white magic but he wasnt bronze i dont think , about 18 th lol
but bulgarian champion, and certainly an olypion and a nice guy .

oh and yes joe, he does do lessons , and ski and boot sales.
he has good prices on head ski gear.
and you can have a in the bar whilst buying your skies.

That'll be Christo Anguelov, owns the White Magic Bar, he was 9th in the Olympics at Lake Placid. We met him last week in Borovets. Next year we're going to book holiday and lift pass in uk and hire skis etc. from him and have private lessons approx £10 each for two hours for four of us.
