Building work in Pamps

Hi, just doing my homework as 12 of us (old gits) looking to go to Pamps after Feb half-term. Seems to be much development in the village, including at some of the exisiting hotels. Apparently the local mayor banned building work during the ski season, but I would appreciate advice on current state of play out there?
Also, advice on hotels - I have read various reviews on the web and I accept that standards might not be as high as in UK, but would appreciate all and any comments re hotels ...

All building work has ceased and there is no disruption within the resorts.Morgavets or Pamporovo Hotel would be my 2 recomendations.

Would check out the latest reviews for all accommodation over the next few days before you book... Came back yesterday and expect quite a few people will have something to say about their accommodation.Hope you have a great time

After looking round friends room in the Orlovetz I can only say one word WWWWWWooooooooWWWWWWWWWre: Building work in Pamps
Hi Just got back from staying in the Pamporova hotel and can confirm that building work is still very much going on there. Not that it affected us any but the night club was being refurbished (shut) and it appears that there is an extension? going on out the back.
Enjoyed the holiday but my only word of warning is that if you have booked rooms adjacent to each other then forget it. We went with friends with kids and our pre booked rooms adjacent to each other were on three different ...
