Bulgaria in the Summer

Hi all,

We had a cracking time at Pampovoro this winter and are just in the process of booking the summer holiday. Has anyone had any experience of Bulgaria in the summer, which resorts are good etc. Keen to go somewhere with a beach if poss.

Any advice appreciated!

yep, many of us 'double up', ski in the winter and then enjoy the Black Sea in the summer.

Sunny Beach is the largest resort, I'll be back there in July. It's better developed than you might expect, and still pretty cheap.

Try this -
We are 13 danes who are going to Lozenets and Sozopol, specially, I could recommand Sozopol, 20-25 km south of Bourgas, we where there last year in august - another place are New Nessebar, not Nessebar, just before Sunny Beach (who are rubbish) - try it, I can ensure you...

Have you thought of a summer mountain holiday? We went to Tsigov Chark in the summer and it was fantastic. There is a huge lake there with a small beach, it is really hot in the summer and there are lots of places to visit around there.
