Am looking to go skiing in Pamps this winter with partner who has never skiied before. I've heard that there are some excellent value packages incl. ski hire, flights, board etc. Can anyone recommend any tour operators? Or indeed hotels etc? I'm a pretty experienced skiier but understand that for bloke who is total beginner Pamps is just fine.
Hi Polly as Kel said try Inghams or Balkan holidays. I would recommend the Mourgavets Hotel in centre of resort. You will ski the resort out very quickly if you are a good skier but it will be great for you partner, very good ski school.
Went skiing for the 1st time in over 20 years last in Pamps, Balkan Holidays were great and the Ski School is fantastic. Pamps is a great resort - picturesque, pretty well run and relaxed. We stayed at Snezhanka, which was cosy but going to the Mourgvaets next Feb. Good deal with Balkan Hols is a free lift pass if your m8 takes the Complete beginners package - think that they are doing that again this year
I've booked all my hols to Bulgaria through Balkan Holidays. Latedeals.com is quite good too. I seem to find they're the best. If you're going to Pamporovo, make sure you book into at least a 4* hotel. Pamporovo is fab for learning but if you're experienced, there's some good runs for you too! Hi Polly,
I've booked all my hols to Bulgaria through Balkan Holidays. Latedeals.com is quite good too. I seem to find they're the best. If you're going to Pamporovo, make sure you book into at least a 4* hotel. Pamporovo is fab for learning but if you're experienced, there's some good runs for you too! There's not a lot of nightlife out there so you're pretty much confined to your hotel. I went to Bansko in March, thats equally as good for learning but also a wider variety of slopes for the more experienced.
