Bulgaria is an ideal 'family' resort - which means usually adults and kids learning to ski. That means paying for 2 or 3 kids holidays (plus extras) on top of your own expenses. A Learn to ski package in France, at a 'high' resort (to get the "guaranteed" snow Wink )comes in about £230 each.... yup, thats almost a GRAND extra on your base holiday price for a family of four! i went france last year les menuires was good snow jan 6th but everything there so expense, lessons, ski pass ski hire beer food cost me a bomb which is why im going to boro on jan 20th

bit of lack of snow this year unfortunately will check out bansko next feb

Th reasons are obvious if budget constraints apply, if it can be afforded then France wins hands down.
