Bulgaria vs France

Hi All,

I have been to Pams last year and like everyone else had to pray for snow...every day looking at the webcams in hope of a dump. last year the trip cost €900.00 per head staying in Orlovets. Had a great time however this year I wasnt prepared to risk my annual ski trip living in hope every day for snow.....

Just look at these two links...this is the diffrence between resorts! Ok France cost me an extra €300 but am not one bit worried about lack of snow.

Fully agree with the last line of your post as we also are off to france in 2 and a bit weeks (les menuires) we had 3 excellent holidays in Borovets over the last 3 years but due to a combination of erratic snowfall and having done all the runs thought it was time to see what else is out there. As they say around these parts... I can't wait !! Very Happy Very Happy

I am driving to Chamonix tomorrow afternoon for a quick 4 day break and having viewed the web cams I can also agree - I can't wait. Shed loads of snow there and looks awesome. Would like to share the space in the car but my Mrs is large and takes significant volunes of baggage! Crying

Andora, Austria, are better value than France just my opinion. Seems to be mostly chalets in France to, so if you prefer a hotel as i do youre a bit out of luck.
