My son and I collect various whacky instruments on our worldy travels. I got a drum in Gambia 3 years ago and it still STINKS of the dead goat it was made from - urgh.

Got some strange bits & bobs in Kenya but ahh - the Kaba Gaida - now I'd not thought of that - I could wreak revenge on my noisy neighbours - ha ha!!

Hi if you want to see and hear the Gaida, goto Chepelare. If you want to experience a "real" session, send me an email and I will give you a contact. I go to a restaurant in Cheps and belive me when they have a party, the Gaida's come out of the woodwork - its fantastic and I just love being there. When are you going out?

I am back on the 14th but if you want to be "entertained" send an email to [email protected] His name is Chris and he is a ski instructor in Pamps and he will arrange to meet you and get you into Chepelare for an evenings entertainment - Will be well worthwhile. You can meet some "real" bulgarians. Its great fun. He will welcome your email and he speaks and writes very good english. I will be meeting him tomorrow and will tell him you may be in contact.
