Ok I never did the buffet thing as I was stopping in a villa but when last in Pamps I found the food fantastic. For example one night I had Feta baked in Pine Nuts, garlic and local Honey - possibly one of the finest things I have ever eaten, followed by a a kind of beef strogonof.
i think it gets a bad press, i never ever had any problem with it, even the hotel buffet. True i was starving the whole time due to loads of boarding, but hey
a mate who came with last time became addicted to the wierd boiled, 'not that cooked' bacon even!!
No, you're not alone in liking the hotel food! I've always enjoyed the lovely tasting food, its just the presentation that leaves something to be desired! Had some nice stuffed vine leaves, gr8 stews, and deep fried haloumi cheese! I even like the simple snack they serve on BH Airlines! Just cheese, meat and a roll
im not a fussy eater but wasnt too keen on the food in the hotel (finlandia) in pamps. but in sayin that i loved my huge plate of half cooked scrambled eggs in the morn yum yum
I love the food and if you see the markets where they sell it you would see how organic it all is, its a very healthy lifestyle, why else are all the bulgarian women so stick thin and divine - its awful in the summer when you have to share the beach with them.....the men probably love it though....
I eat so healthy when in bulgaria, lose weight and feel much better for it
The find of the holiday for me was battered carrots! Would never of given them a chance at home but you have to try these things when you're away - they were lovely!!
