Bulgarian food

Whats the food like in Borovets? what is traditional bulgarian food ? any cluse would be appreciated

hotel food is crap, just eat around in borovets! there are lots of good places and good people around!!! Booze

Used to eat my dogs food anyway - so I'll survive -dog biscuits taste like toast !!

The food in Bulgaria is er, Bulgarian. It has many Greek and Turkish influences which means that it is different to the food/grot that we eat here most of the time. The other point to be aware of is that the Bulgarians do not eat their food as hot as we tend to (temperature). This leads to many people feeling that there is something wrong with the food, especially that served in the hotels. There isn't, it's just different. Give it a try with an open mind. Crying Oh your poor englishmen we are som tired of reading about your problems about food. You just eat what you are served and it is OK. Itīs perhaps better food than you get at home.

Be adventurous! Traditional Bulgarian food is excellent! You may find life difficult if you are a vegetarian though.
