Bumboarding?

Someone I know mentioned this the other day, she's off to Borovets next week and has actually based the holiday on bumboarding.

Today someone on here said their kids did it at night...in the resort.


Obviously I hate to not know anything and have a very real fear of missing anything, so I'd appreciate the low down on bumboarding if any of you good folks have witnessed/tried the phenomena..

(what I really want to know is: will I be able to do it? )

Don't worry Kitty everybody can bumboard, you just walk up a slope sit on a small bum shaped plastic tray lift you feet off the ground slightly and weeeeeeeeee you're off. It's great fun

Bumboarding is great. You can by these plastic bum-shaped boards at any of the resort shops for a few leve and you walk up the slope a little, sit down and just go! it is sooo fast. I only did it in the evening when I was there last year because the slopes are too busy in the daytime and i was busy skiing. Its great fun bu basing a holiday purely on that seems a bit of a waste when you consider all the great slopes at borovets. Each to their own i suppose. Anyway, have fun!!
