Burglary

Also meant to ask about a burglary we heard happened just this week. One of our friends is over there and went for their first day skiing and loved it on Monday. Got back to the hotel and everything was gone (clothes, jewellery, music and money).

Apparently the police & hotel staff were not helpful at all. Unfortunately, I don't know what hotel it is they are staying at.

Anyone got any top tips on security etc?

Cheers again!

re: Burglary

There is a burgulary committed in England every 20 seconds. Sad

Just be careful and store your valuables in a safety deposit box.

Bulgaria is far safer than the UK!!!!!!

re: Burglary

Thanks again Pete - I just hate when you hear horror stories like that of our friend. They are thinking about coming home early because of what happened to them!

Cheers.

re: Burglary

Tip 1.Lock your doors when you go out.

Tip 2 Leave cash and valuables in the hotel safety deposit boxes or in the safe in the hotel room.

Tip 3. Don't get so smashed that you can't remember which room you are in and end up being accused of being a burglar.

anything other tips are not mentioned as they are commonsense really.

Cheers!
