Burnt out Bar in Bansko

Apparently the bar at the top of runs 5 and 10 has had a serious fire and is closed.

Shame, I used to like it up there

And they will raise the lift passes to pay for it to be rebuilt. Hahahaha!

Can't get clear on reports I have read about this - was it the 'Goat' ?? Loved it in there!!!

Join the club........there were 2 resturants burnt down to the ground in Borovets last season.

It was not the `goat', it was the one at the base of the poma and t-bar...
Shame really, it served good hot choc...
The lift to the rear that comes up from red12 was supposably damaged with the heat and smoke from the fire, engineers were inspecting it yesterday, nothing to report, but hopefully all is ok...

This is sad. I liked this bar, the staff were the most friendly on the mountain. However they did have a very dodgy looking electric fire on all day.

Re the insurance job. This bar is at the top of the 2 runs closed most of the week we were there so must have had bad trade. Lol (age50 btw- If you womder what the hell I mean you have probably have missed the most entretaining and pos controversial thread on the board this week.)
