Off to Bansko on the 3rd, (first time skiing)!! still need to get a few things such as thermals and sun glasses, should I get them here or on first day out there? Will they be cheaper in BG.Also anyone else staying or stayed at the Stazhite hotel, what can I expect?

I would get them here,you dont want to waste valuable snow time shopping do you!.Try matalan n even aldi for thermals but get a good pair of googles.Have fun

was there last year and going again on sunday, there wasnt many shops and most of them were selling hooky north face stuff etc, i always prefer to have my kit with me then your not wasting valuble time shopping, tk max had some thermals and sunnys in yesterday, aswell as jackets and pants, (got a pair for £20). as for the hotel, we stopped at the pirin last year and i tried for the strazite this year but was booked, looks very "posh" and is in a great spot, i am sure you will have no ...
