Buying Boots in Borovets

We Stayed in Borovets last year (around New Year) and are doing the same this coming New Year. I already have my own boots, and am thinking of buying my wife a pair. Now. I know that there are some well stocked shops in Borovets, but what I can't remember is whether they take credit cards. I'm specifically thinking of a shop I popped into between the Rila and main road junction (next to White Magic). Anyone know if they take cards?

Cheers

re: Buying Boots in Borovets

Sorry Jim not sure, but cash is King in Bulgaria, although if i were you i'd get fitted for the boots in the uk that'll save you a morning trying on boots..

If it were me i'd buy them in the uk,because it's a long way back to BG to change your boots if they go wrong, also check your baggage wait boots could well end up costing £40 quid in extra weight or baggage...

Hope this helps..

TT
