Buying Equipment in Borovets

Hi, going to Borovets 1st week of Feb 2017.CAn anyone advise if ski equipment is cheaper to buy in resort than in the UK? Looking at new pair of boots

Hi Richard

I'm not sure on the answer to this, however we have a Facebook Group set up to help with just such questions. I know for sure that some of the members have bought in the resort, so should be able to help you. Just click to join and I'm sure someone will know. It's called 'Borovets 2017-Snow, skiing, boarding and everything else - information group'.

Personally I would buy in UK- but plenty of folk very happy to buy in resort- try the face book page for answers from more useful persons than myself!

Far cheaper in resort, lots of good ski shops, around 30% cheaper sometimes more.

Hi Richard plenty of excellent shops to choose from and had friends who have bought stuff in resort and always happy, also am looking at buying Helmut in resort this trip

There are lots of good places to buy from in Borovets.
Our choice would be from Stefan who has his shop in the Samokov hotel or from Rosignol, their shop is in Iglika 2 building behind the Rila hotel.
They will normally give you discount if you say we recommended you.

Hi Richard, Stefan's shop is easy to find when you are here in the Samokov Hotel.
I do not know if he has a website but will ask him when I see him.
