Does anyone know whether the shop in the Rila sells kids ski suits - my 11 year old needs a new one and I am wondering should I buy it there as soon as I arrive. I would need to get it though on Sunday night as we are arriving there in the evening and I want us to be able to go straight out on Monday morning and not have to go looking. Any help or experience people have on this would be greatly appreciated as the choice in the shops is not great here at the moment and I am wondering as ...

yeah theres plenty of gear there to but, some of it isnt as cheap as over here though in my view, but you'll find what you need be it in the rila area or around the shopsre: Buying Ski gear in Borovets
Do you have a TK Maxx in your area - they have stacks of kids ski stuff. Also popped into ASDA on Saturday and they are selling off all their kids suits as stupid prices. Happy shopping - Karen.re: Buying Ski gear in Borovets
I was in the Rila a couple of weeks ago, I kitted out the whole family before we went in case it wasn't as cheap as people say or we wouldn't have time when we got there. I really regretted it, there's masses of stuff there, really good makes, spider, killy, etc. (probably fakes, but good ones) and very cheap, loads of choice,good colours etc. Rila shops are good but there are plenty more just outside the hotel and are open to about 9.30pm, open again at 9.00 am in case you arrive late.

Was in the Rila last week and yes there is gear available, but they were selling it off - end of season sale so stock may be running down. We also needed a good quality pair of kids ski gloves as the ones we had taken we not warm enough, we really struggled to get anything of any quality for children's small hands. Stacks of hats and jackets though.As they say TK Maxx is a great shop to get designer ski gear cheap or try ebay!!!!
