Buying Snowboard in Pamps

I知 thinking of buying a snowboard and boots in Pamps. Bringing back to UK.

1. Is it easy to bring it back on the plane?
2. Do you pay extra baggage fee?
3. Is it likely to get broken in the cargo hold?
4. Do you have to declare it at Customs?
5. If so, do I have to give up an arm and a leg to the dreaded taxman?

Anyone out there done this? Let me know what happened.

Thanks Delboy

Can you give me any idea on what I should allow for a basic board, bindings and boots. (need to take the extra cash with me) I知 no expert; so don稚 want to spend too much. I値l just be messing around on a dry skislope when I知 back. (groan)

Why don't you e-mail Steve at the Snowshack for some help on costs. I popped in there yesterday and they are a really friendly and helpful bunch.
