Buying in Bulgaria

Hi all

With all the new developements popping up in the resorts I am amazed that I havent seen many posts on here from people who are or have or are thinking of buying out there. Personally I am about to buy an apartment in Pamporovo which was partly decided on because I have not seen one post on here rubbishing the place. So hopefully once Ryanair start flying to Plovdiv I should be able to go out anytime I want and stay for as long as I want. Sounds like bliss to me. Anyone else ...

Sounds great but couldn't afford it, and hubby only gets a few weeks holiday a year!

re: Buying in Bulgaria

It is surprisingly cheap but not for long. The good thing is as well is that if you arent using it then you can rent it out and that will pay for any mortgage you have on it.
We have been lucky that since I am now married I can sell the bachelor pad to pay for it.

re: Buying in Bulgaria

Hey

We are gonna buy at Rhodopi Pearl in Pamporovo which looks like it has better facilities than Pamporovo Pearl. We also looked at the chalets on Bulgarian properties.com but decided they were too far away from the action.

Rhodopi Pearl only at foundation stage so Im hoping that anyone who goes to Pamps in the new year might give me a progress report before we go out in Feb or March for a look.

Cheers

Stew

Good luck in Bansko

re: Buying in Bulgaria

I read only last week that the budget airlines should start looking at Bulgaria once it becomes part of the EU in 2007. At the moment I think Ryanair would have there work cut out but who knows.
